Browallia thrives where light is limited as it is full to part shade species. Growing Browallia where soil is moist is favorable. The plant requires diffused light to prevent it from burning and are not tolerant of drought conditions. When planting Browallia outside, leave at least a one foot radius between other plants.
This little plant is not terribly fussy as long as it gets some protection from the bright midday sun. Pinch any deadends on this plant to keep it bushy.
